- Market your skills to employers
- Access the specialist information and resources you need
- Obtain the job you want and position yourself for future opportunities
You can come and meet with us to find out more about our career management programmes and which is most suitable for you. As a guideline, they include the following:
Want to explore your career options and then make a job move?
Our Combined Career Management programme enables a full career assessment and exploration of your career options before embarking on a planned job move. It provides career coaching support throughout your job search campaign and includes specialist information resources and research services to make your job-search more time-efficient.
Explore your options but not looking to make a move immediately?
If you would like to explore your options but aren't looking to make a job move immediately, then our Career Explorer programme is ideal for you. This may be because you are planning for the mid-term future eg after receiving a bonus payment, your return from maternity leave or simply because you want to get a sense of what options may be available to you before deciding to move.
Contingency Planning - a Plan B?
You may be perfectly happy in your current role but want to be ready in the event of a potential career threat eg redundancy. In today's turbulent job market, contingency career planning is only sensible. Our Plan B career management programme will help you do all the preparation work necessary to get you ready for the job market, should it be required. It will include bench-marking your skills, identifying any gaps and competitive advantages, preparing your CV, practical interview training etc. If you need to implement a full job search campaign then you can easily upgrade to the job search programme. Plan B mimimises any potential loss of income by ensuring that you are already well positioned as a candidate in the job market and therefore immediately able to capitalise on potential job opportunities.
Who is it for?
Our career management programmes will be especially helpful if you are looking for changes in work either now or within the next 6-18 months.
If you are being made redundant see our outplacement services, for more information.
