Group Job Search Workshops
These cost effective workshops can help facilitate supported exits for groups of staff that are leaving the organisation.
Job search workshops typically focus on the following areas:

- Developing your “sales pitch” and being able to market yourself effectively
- Job hunting techniques, for both the advertised and the hidden jobs market
- CV preparation, covering letters and application forms
- Helping to create an online presence, including LinkedIn and Google+.
- Working on interview and networking skills
- How to manage recruitment agencies and Headhunters
- Organising your job search campaign
We can also include a range of other extras with these workshops, including a career file with comprehensive information on career self-assessment and job search techniques, and a copy of our best-selling CV book, “You’re Hired! How to write a brilliant CV”.
Individuals will also have access to a Client Resource Manager and online access to our job search resources. These are ideal for putting together company lists for speculative approaches and also help to find Recruitment Agencies and Head Hunters who specialise in their industry. Employees will also be invited to our client networking events which are great for practicing networking skills and to meet other individuals who are also looking for a new role.

Another way we can provide outplacement support to a number of people going through the redundancy process is by offering Career Clinics. Career Clinics offer one-to-one individual appointments for staff to discuss an area of relevance to them. This could be working on their CV, cover letters, interview practice etc. This helps individuals get specific support depending on their current career situation. These clinics can run alongside workshops or can be used as a standalone facility.
We can also offer a combination of job search workshops and career clinics. This is beneficial for individuals as it highlights how the job search resources learnt in the group workshops can help them in their own specific career situation.
