Symphony®
Organisational Career Development Strategy
The Symphony® approach
Symphony® is our ground-breaking strategic consultancy approach to organisational career development.
At a time where great talent is hard to find and retain, career development opportunities incentivise and engage both candidates and employees alike.
Symphony® helps grow diverse and inclusive talent pipelines, increases organisational agility and encourages greater cross-working and knowledge sharing.
Symphony® key elements
Organisational Review
Diagnostic discussions including meeting with key stakeholders to understand challenges and priorities
Recommendations
Feedback on how to develop a positive, energised approach to career development throughout the organisation
Implementation
Developing in-house capabilities, creating career development opportunities, bringing in expertise where required, creating clear messaging
What to expect
We’ll help you create an integrated career development strategy and framework in line with your business needs and make recommendations that will maximise ROI on people costs.
Our suggestions are high impact, but very often low cost and easy to implement.
Symphony® is suitable for organisations that:
- want to reduce staff turnover
- are undergoing major change
- want to develop their own future leaders
- are gearing towards high performance
Benefits of Symphony® for the organisation include:
Attract Talent
Career development is important for candidates
Improve Retention
Reduce talent attrition and re-hiring costs
Diversity and Inclusion
Realise potential of all your employees
Happier workforce
Improved job satisfaction and engagement
Shared purpose
Bringing everyone together
Our corporate clients include:
“Employee Career Development! Smart CEOs already get it because they’re seeing people leave and the cost of hiring top talent go up. Those that don’t get it, good luck! I want to tell the world, if you come work here, you’re gonna do amazing stuff, right? And then I also want them to think: “Holy Moly! They’re growing my career and potentially making me eight times more valuable in the marketplace. Maybe I should hang around longer and see where this ride takes me!”

Symphony® FAQs
Is Symphony only for larger businesses?
Whatever your organisation’s size, paying attention to career development is going to pay off.
For a smaller organisation it may be that only a couple of meetings are required to develop recommendations and we can provide support on the implementation or signpost to other resources as appropriate.
For larger, more complex organisations this may form part of a larger project, needing more stakeholder involvement, greater co-ordination between different parts of the organisation and involving more complexity on the roll-out.
